On March 12, 2012, Initiating Meeting for Construction Plan of Chinese MBA Teachers Development and School-running Ability (Temasek Program) was hosted by Shanghai University of Finance and Economics—assistance university of Temasek Program was held at the Conference Hall, Guoding Road Campus, Shanghai University of Finance and Economics. Vice President of Zhejiang Gongshang University—Professor Li Jinchang, Dean of MBA School - Professor Zheng Yongjun, Deputy Dean—Professor Mie Biao and professors engaged in advanced studies of the Program and relevant personnel of Xinjiang University of Finance and Economics participated in this meeting.

At first, Vice President of Shanghai University of Finance and Economics—Professor Sun Zheng gave his welcoming speech. He expressed that Temasek Program provided good opportunities for development of colleges of finance and economics, and he also emphasized that Shanghai University of Finance and Economics would do its best to do all job, and be totally open to assisted colleges related to teachers and teaching resources from the aspect of function departments and provide assistance in life and study.

Vice President of our university—Li Jinchang gave a speech at the meeting and introduced relevant situation of our university and MBA School. He first showed his thanks to Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, and welcomed Shanghai University of Finance and Economics and Xinjiang University of Finance and Economics for guidance to our university and further deepening communication, study and cooperation of guide teachers and assisted teachers.

Professor Zheng Yongjun, on behalf of MAB School pointed out at the meeting that it is hoped that our university can carry out cooperation on three aspects—financial MBA, EMBA, local Zhejiang merchants’ cases and study tour with Shanghai University of Finance and Economics with the opportunity of Temasek Program.

Deputy Dean Mie Biao suggested that a staff training program could be added to existing cooperation framework of Temasek for improving teaching level and comprehensively promoting school-running ability of our school and work quality of staff.

Finally, teachers engaged in advanced studies at the meeting expressed own opinions and provided valuable opinions for development of the Program.
