On the afternoon of December 17, “Teaching Inheritance” 2012 MBA Teaching Meeting and MBA Teaching Seminar were held in Tiandu City. Vice President Li Jinchang presented at the meetings and gave his speech. Members of MBA Academy (Degree) Subcommittee, person-in-charge of Graduate Division, teachers of MBA and MPM Programs and MBA Thesis Advisors participated in these meetings. Professor Guo Lin from College of Management, Xiamen University and Associate Professor Qi Yi from College of Management, Zhejiang University were invited to share their opinions on case teaching, case writing and MBA teaching methods, etc.. The meetings were hosted by Professor ZhengYongjun,Dean of MBA School.

Vice President Li Jinchang showed his congratulations to hosting of the meetings, introduced MBA running situation to guests and teachers participating in the meetings and showed his affirmation to achievements of MBA School in eight years. It is hoped that teachers can combine characteristics of MBA education to explore new teaching methods and improve teaching quality for joint enhancement of improvement of MBA teaching quality in our university and brand construction and making our MBA education a leading role in Zhejiang Province and even the whole country.

Professor Guo Lin from College of Management, Xiamen University, engaged in MBA and EMBA teaching for a long time and with rich experience and unique insight in case teaching and case writing, displayed skills of case teaching and teaching results with vivid examples to teachers which inspired teachers a lot. 

Associate Professor Qi Yi from College of Management, Zhejiang University, as the most popular teacher among students of Zhejiang University for years, shared his MBA teaching experience with teachers. Teaching method that Associate Professor Qi designs teaching contents based on students’ needs and work enthusiasm for whole attention paid to course teaching deeply influence teachers at site.

Deputy Dean of MBA School—Professor Yu Hong introduced management systems and work processes of our School to teachers at the meetings and invited the teachers to have deep discussion on teaching and educational administration, thesis guidance, etc.. All teachers at the meetings actively spoke their opinions combined own work experience and gave suggestions to MBA School, so the atmosphere was very warm.

Finally, Dean of MBA School—Professor Zheng Yongjun summarized the meetings. At first, he showed his thanks to support and help of teachers to the School, at the same time, Dean Zheng introduced the development planning of the School and hoped that teachers took MBA School as their home and continued to support development of the School.
