View of Five Continents: Exploration Tour for Zhejiang Merchants from Seven Schools and Eight Countries—Teachers and Students of ESSCA (24 Peosons) Visited our School

On January 19, 2014, our school and ESSCA formally signed the Memorandum of Understanding. On July 3, 2014, Professor Sabine from ESSCA led a team with other teachers and students (24 people in total) (separately from 7 different countries and 7 overseas colleges and universities) to conduct communication visit in our school and explore development of Zhejiang enterprises. The communication activity which was participated in by Dean of our school - Professor Nie Biao, Deputy Dean - Professor Chen Jue, teachers from International Office and Student Affair Office and 15 MBA students, was hosted at Hall of Fame for Zhejiang Merchants, Zhejiang Merchants Museum, Jiaogong Road Campus, Zhejiang Gongshang University.

 

Deputy Dean -Professor Chen Jue, on behalf of MBA School expressed our welcome to ESSCA teachers and students to conduct communication study in our school and gave brief introduction historical development of Zhejiang Gongshang University and school-running characteristics of our school with the hope that our school and ESSCA could have deep understanding on each other at different levels and become friends among colleges and students with the help of different platforms.

 

During visit in the morning, our school organized ESSCA teachers and students to visit the enterprise of a school fellow—WENSLI Group and obtained warm reception and explanation of Senior Lecturer of the Group—Ma Ying and Customer Manager of the Group Chen Xuefeng. At student exchange and display link at the afternoon, MBA students of our school—Yu Jiajun and Zhou Li shared their wonderful opinions on Zhejiang enterprises and their brief outline, witty language and stereoscopic display of audio video won warm applause; while ESSCA students conducted group displays themed as "Market Analysis of Louis Vuitton in China", "Market Analysis of Zara in China", "Market Analysis of Heineken in China" and "Market Analysis of Oreo in China" and their dedicated PPT, interpretation with clear logic presented profession and innovation of ESSCA. At the free discussion link, students from ESSCA and our school joined pairs freely to have hot and positive communication and discussion on contents displayed, differences between Chinese and western life, visit stories and feelings and other topics. 

 

This ESSCA student communication activity further enhances cooperation and communication between our school and ESSCA, deepens friendship of students and lays a solid foundation for more cooperation and development in the future.
