Notice for the Pre-defense of International Students on February 16th

Dear 21IMBA students,

The time and place, material requirements, process and sequence of this pre-defense are hereby notified as follows:

1.       Time & Place:

  l  Time: The combination of online and on-site defense will be conducted at 14:00 pm, 16th February, 2023 (please refer to pre-defense schedule below for details). You are requested to hand in the relevant materials BEFORE the defense. Materials collecting time is between 13:40-14:00, students have to attend the defense on time, and overseas students have to log in to the Dingtalk group ahead of time.

  l  Place: Classroom 307, No.1 Teaching building, Jiaogong Road Campus.

2.       Paper Materials:

l  Four paper copies of your confirmed dissertation: you need to prepare four copies of your paper and take them to the site if you take the on-site pre-defense.

l  IMBA Dissertation Pre-defense Application Form: complete the form with supervisor’s handwritten signature and bring the paper form if you take the on-site defense.

l  The Supervisor Guidance Record Form: complete the form with supervisor’s handwritten signature and bring the paper form if you take the on-site defense.

* If you take the online defense, electronic signature is accepted, and MBA School will help to print the above signed materials.

3.       Process:

Students have to prepare a PPT presentation for approximately5 minutes, followed by a Q&A session. The time may be adjusted accordingly as the defense proceeds. So please stay tuned.

4.       The students who fail to pass the defense shall not participate in the subsequent defense process.
