Zhejiang Gongshang University MBA School has accumulated rich alumni resources for the 12 years after its founding and has witnessed a growing number of alumni who have become an important force pushing forward the development of the School. As of now, MBA Alumni could always been seen at all major events at the School. Alumni are not only participants of the school construction but also planners, organizers and sponsors. The feeding-back situation of alumni to the School has so far been established.
On the morning of June 30, 2015, the agreement signing ceremony for RMB 100,000 donation of Mr. SHU Xiaogang, alumnus of Zhejiang Gongshang University MBA School to the School was held at the School’s conference room, Floor 5 of the No.1 Administrative Building. Pro. NIE Biao, President of the MBA School and Pro. CHEN Jue, Vice President attended the agreement signing ceremony on behalf of the School.
First of all, Pro. NIE Biao extended his sincere thanks and salute to Mr. SHU Xiaogang for his feeding-back to the mother school. To Mr. SHU Xiaogang, Pro. NIE introduced the latest development of the School, the overall work structure of the School’s alumni, processing of the School’s application for AMBA accreditation and indicated that this donation from MBA alumni would be put as alumni’s designated donation which would particularly be used to improve operation of the MBA School. All amount of the donation will be reasonably used based on the principle “particular amount under particular management under alumni’s supervision” and use of the fund donated will be fed back to the donors truthfully.
In the afterward signing ceremony of his donation, Mr. SHU Xiaogang noted that getting back to the School after five years of graduation, he felt warm and affected. His two years of studying at the School accordingly was the key period of his enterprise’s operation and development and he felt appreciated with a lot of valuable advice from teachers and classmates. By making this donation, he hoped to contribute a little bit to development of the MBA School. In his words, as fruits of the School’s work, alumni should contribute themselves to expansion of the School and in the future, he would continue to constantly focus on development of the mother school and fully support development and construction of the MBA School.
Over the past decade, the MBA School has witnessed a steady progress and growup and in the forthcoming decade, we will continue to innovate and leap forward. Adhering to the education philosophy of Zhejiang Gongshang University MBA School “Excellent Business Studies, Putting All Learned into Practicing” and mission of the program “Combining management wisdom domestically and internationally, Inheriting the business start-up spirit of Zhejiang Merchants, Setting up a platform for both sides to grow-up and Supporting the Society’s Sustainable Development”, we need to gather forces from all sides, to integrate resources of all stakeholders and to constantly update and expand ourselves.
Accumulating all tiny parts into a powerful one, the support from the alumni is valuable and affected treasury of the School and force of the alumni would greatly empower the School’s development. The development history of Zhejiang Gongshang University MBA School will ever mark alumni’s contribution!
Appendix: About SHU Xiaogang
SHU Xiaogang, who worked as assistant to general manager at EASTCOM (industrial company) between July 2003 and March 2005, started to establish Hangzhou Lianqiao Network Science & Technology and founded the JXEDT, the largest platform for driving exam in April 2005. In 2008 he attended Zhejiang Gongshang University MBA School. In April 2015, 10 years after his business start-up, 58.com wholly acquired the JXEDT.
