On December 2, 2016, the MPM Project Partner of Zhejiang Gongshang University MBA School-Xikutimi Campus of University of Quebec in Rimouski won the silver award of the 5th Higher Education Excellence Award of CCBC (Canada-China Business Council) with the Sino-Canadian educational joint program in China (education program of Master of Project Management and etc.). Canada-China Business Council (hereinafter referred to as “CCBC”) is the advocate, leader and promoter of Canada-China bilateral trade and investment. CCBC has been providing the business information of Canada and China for members during the period of more than 30 years after its establishment and has established the bridge for business exchange and communication between the two countries for members. This award ceremony is held in the City of Toronto, Canada. Dominique Bouchard, the Vice President of Xikutimi Campus of University of Quebec, attends the award ceremony as the representative. Quebec Campus in Canada sends the good news of winning an award to our partners in China the first time and thank us for our hardworking and efforts during 13 years from the date of organization of the program up to now.

Introduction to University of Quebec in Rimouski and Xikutimi Campus of University of Quebec
University of Quebec is a public university established in 1968 with the approval of the Ministry of Education in Quebec, Canada and it is one of the largest universities in Canada which consists of nine branch schools with dependent legal person qualification and one independent research institute, having the right to confer doctor's degree, master’s degree and bachelor's degree. University of Quebec has about 6000 faculty and staff and more than 86000 students. The main cooperative school of the program is Xikutimi Campus which is one of the nine branch schools of University of Quebec with more than 7000 students and more than 250 professors. It is one of the first batch of universities which can confer master's degree in project management and the university has the right to confer master’s degree in project management and it is also one of the first batch of three universities obtaining the global professional accreditation of Project Management Institute (PMI) in the North America.

The education program for Master of Project Management jointly held by Zhejiang Gongshang University and Xikutimi Campus of University of Quebec in Rimouski was approved by the Academic Degrees Committee Office of the State Council (XWB [2003] No.124 Document) in December 2003 and reviewed and approved by the Ministry of Education in 2006 and the program approval No. is MOE33CA1A200301050. In 2013, the program passed the Sino-foreign educational cooperation evaluation of the Ministry of Education and the evaluation result is qualified. The number of student enrolled in each period of the program is 90 and the program duration is 2 years. Since 2004, the program has cultivated 958 outstanding talents having high sense of responsibility in the constantly changing environment and society for the society.
