The 12th China Management Cases Sharing Center "Management Cases Development and Cases Teaching" Teachers Training Course Smoothly Started.

In order to promote the application of cases teaching methods in Business School, especially the MBA project, and promote the interest and capability of teachers of Business School in cases development and cases education, in accordance with the spirit and work arrangement of China National MBA Education Supervisory Committee, the 12th "Management Cases Development and Cases Teaching" training class hosted by China Management Case Sharing Center, and undertaken by six universities such as Zhejiang University of Technology, Zhejiang Gongshang University and Zhejiang University of Finance and Economics and so on. The training class was held at Zhejiang University of Finance and Economics on September 19, 2012. This year's class was given lecture by William Shurniak, who is the Chair Professor of International Business of Richard Ivey School of Business and Professor Chen Shifen. This class trains the teachers of six MBA Schools in Zhejiang Province.

 

Professor Chen Shifen has carried out training for MBA teachers at home for many times, thus has accumulated rich experience. This training focused on the cases development and cases teaching. By combining the key problems in each link of cases development and cases teaching. Professor Chen Shifen delivered the lecture from the shallower to the deeper, and made the presentation from the cases selection, preparation of cases, teaching organization and site grasp etc., and he also made the site demonstration of cases teaching. The atmosphere in the training site is quite active. 10 teachers of our university participated in this training, and the participated teachers indicated that the teaching training was very important to the MBA teaching, and they learned a lot. In the later teaching, the cases teaching method shall be used more often, and the formulation work of cases teaching will be further promoted.
